★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stunning views from the Sky Bar , only i don't understand why at the reception guests are forced to take off winter jackets / coats , than forced to use their garderobe and than forced again to pay for their service and to have them back.
Otherwise highly recommended.

It successfully blends into the colours, shapes, and grandeur of Vienna, including the soaring spires of Stephansdom to which it presents a futuristic, respectful challenge. It literally reflects history on its walls and reinterprets it to a new world.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amidst the historical and important buildings at Stephensplatz is the noticeably more recent, modern and architecturally interesting Haas Haus building, which was designed by Austrian architect Hans Hollein in postmodernist style in 1990.
With its peculiar shape and form, the building most notably comes across as a massive mirror, which upon clear sky days provides a fair reflection of St. Stephen's Church when standing nearer to Kärntner Strasse and viewing the Haas Haus exterior.
Have a quick look-see before or after visiting the cathedral or when passing through Stephensplatz. Then carry on with intended sightseeing in this area of Vienna.

Designed by the Austrian architect Hans Hollein, it is a building in the postmodernist style and was completed in 1990. The use of the Haas-Haus is divided between retail and a restaurant.
