★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very lively and beautiful area to visit in Vienna, especially during Christmas time. There are many shops to buy all kinds of souvenirs, and also just about every high end store you can think of. Pretty much no matter what time of year, this area is always packed with tourists.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little Christmas market. Great goulash soup and hot punch. Fantastic views. A common place to rent the horse carriage, get food, shop, and enjoy the sights.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots of stores and restaurants. Most Gorgeous and beautiful (in my opinion) at night time during winter and holiday season with all the Christmas decorations and lightings. It gets very crowded so beware of that. The area is huge so you will have to walk a oor.
