Aufgrund der - meiner Meinung nach- teils ominösen Firmenpolitik werde ich in Zukunft einen großen Bogen um diese Versicherung machen. Kundenzufriedenheit steht hier definitiv nicht an erster Stelle.

Ok very expensive

Generali: self-centric and old-fashioned. They were increasing my household premium in Wien each year above inflation with no explanation so I decided to quit. Asked about the process by email. They started sending formal letters threatening me to pay premium anyway. Each letter with new penalties. Noone ever bothered to call or to write an email to explain in human language the process no matter how many emails I sent. I didn't pay since I couldn't understand why. Then I received decision by judge with new increased penalties (to be fair, I was given a chance to have a consultation with judge but...in Sazlburg which is some 300 km from Wien!). Then another one. So the amount tripled. When I called them asking for explanation, got only short answer: "but we send you letters...". So had to pay dearly. Summary: - no matter if you contact them by email, in response they send you letters by post (they don't care what you prefer); - no human contact: they speak in formal language, mostly through judges with extra penalties on you; - no care for cleint: no attempt to prevent negative situation where client is obviousely asking for advice. So, if by bad luck you happen to be a client of them and decided to leave, don't be surprised to get a kick in the butt. I checked reviews at glassdoor - even employees are saying the company is poorly set for a change in a modern world. P.S. just for fun i subsribed to the newly announced portal for clients and, guess, they send you credentials (login, password) by regular mail on paper...no words... welcome to the digital world Generali! Awful service. Not friendly. Horrible atmosphere

we have a very bad experience with mrs m.hofbauer from generali real state. they are very unfriendly people with little respect for people. it's all about filling their own bags here and that's all they care about. they should have just stuck to one thing and that is insurance, not that they are friendly about that but the real estate department really only works money grubbers looking for promotion. it sometimes takes them two weeks to answer your email while you may want to cancel something, and then cancellation applies from the moment they answer your email and not from when you have sent an email, and if you do not like this, you can have a lawyer that may cost you three times as much. and generali knows this very well, so they know that you will eventually agree.
