★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was by far the best walking tour we took in two weeks across Austria and Germany. Our guide was waiting with a small group at a local landmark, Spirit of Mozart aka Schwarzstraße 1, 5020 Salzburg, Austria. And over an easy 90 mins guided us through the beautiful and historically rich streets of Salzburg. Leo was fun, engaging and deeply knowledgeable about the history, culture and made outdoor learning on a chilly drizzly morning the highlight of the day! At the end of the tour, he gave out a little map and postcard so that we can find our way around and write home with the lovely adventures. Of course, i got to say, the concept of a free walking tour is that it is tip based. This encourages most of us have a freely ranging knowledge share but also, for those of us able to, definitely give what you would've paid for a standard guided tour... or more because the work is excellent. After the tour, Leo stayed behind for quite some time to give curated advice for what to do or see next.
Since it is all outdoors, i felt covid safe throughout the trip. You can wear your mask as you feel comfortable to do so. And i would say, the bunker is the only semi-covered indoor spot we ever paused in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The tour was very comprehensive, two very full hours going around, stopping in many different places. Leo showed to have a very good knowledge of Salzburg and its history and was always ready to answer any question. Although the group was big, around 24 people, he managed very well to keep the attention of all the participants by making the stories interesting and by asking question time to time. We would definitely recommend the free tour with Leo to get a good introduction of Salzburg.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nuns and Nazis walking tour was very interesting even though two of us haven't watched the Sound of Music movie beforehand. The tour was a nice combination of general history of Salzburg/Austria and facts about the movie. And above all, our guide Leo is just an amazing person and I can highly recommend taking his tours!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was on the tour last week and it was great. I felt bad when Leo, he's so adorable, had to turn me away with the covid rules, but I returned at 3:00. I do recommend going online and getting a spot with the current Austrian rules.
The 3:00 was a small group and much better than the larger crowd, glad I returned. Leo was very knowledgeable about the city and over all history along with what's good to eat or drink. Would 100% recommend to anyone coming to Salzburg.
