Wirtsleute freundlich und klasse, Essen seeehr lecker und preismässig ok; für Familien auch mit jüngeren Kindern einfach toll! Nur das Klo war mir zu 'urig' - 'für Mädchen ohne Klobrille' find ich nicht 'so pralle'...aber ansonsten alles ehrlich schön - hat sich gelohnt u. wir werden wiederkommen!!! Wonderful, wonderful experience by e-bike! Fantastically beautiful Alm, quiet, decelerated and rustic! Hosts friendly and great, food very tasty and ok in terms of price; just great for families with younger children! Only the toilet was too 'rustic' for me - 'for girls without toilet seats' I don't find it 'so plump' ... but otherwise everything * honestly * - was worth it and we will be back!

Die Almwirtschaft bietet leckeres aus eigener Produktion. Eine kleine, aber feine Auswahl. Beautiful area. Once you have made the ascent, the valley opens and you are rewarded with a breathtaking backdrop. The Almwirtschaft offers delicious food from its own production. A small but fine selection.
D	Doc Holiday (PhoeniXer) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Epzirler Alm ist ein herrlicher Platz im Karwendel, umschlossen von den Seefelder Bergen, den Freiungen und der Erlspitzgruppe. Die Alm ist sehr gastlich und ursprünglich und ist von Gießenbach gut erreichbar. Für Wanderer besteht die Möglichkeit einer grandiosen Rundtour, wenn man in Gießenbach parkt und dann über die Epzirler Alm weiter hinauf zur Epzirler Scharte wandert, von wo aus man dann abwärts über das Solsteinhaus nach Hohzirl kommt. Von dort kann man dann bequem wieder mit der Eisenbahn nach Gießenbach zurück fahren. Wir haben ca. 8 Stunden dafür gebraucht. The Epzirler Alm is a wonderful place in the Karwendel, surrounded by the Seefeld mountains, the Freiungen and the Erlspitz group. The Alm is very hospitable and original and is easily accessible from Gießenbach. For hikers there is the possibility of a magnificent round tour if you park in Gießenbach and then hike further up via the Epzirler Alm to the Epzirler Scharte, from where you then descend via the Solsteinhaus to Hohzirl. From there you can easily take the train back to Gießenbach. It took us about 8 hours to do this.
M	Michi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Total empfehlenswert! Wir waren am Montag in der Eppzirleralm und wurden vom Wirt sehr freundlich begrüßt. Die Knödel waren perfekt, der Apfelstrudel ( selbst gemacht) ein Traum! Zusätzlich nahm sich der Pächter Zeit für uns und erklärte uns die Geschichte der Alm und alles was wir wissen wollten. Ich kann dem jungen Besitzern nur gratulieren! Besser gehts nicht, weiter so! Totally recommendable! We were in the Eppzirleralm on Monday and were greeted very friendly by the host. The dumplings were perfect, the apple strudel (homemade) a dream! In addition, the tenant took time for us and explained the history of the Alm and everything we wanted to know. I can only congratulate the young owner! It couldn't be better, keep it up!
