★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another great hut on the way of a great mountain called Pleisenspitze. It's also doable in winter. Till the hut FROM Scharnitz is an easy hike.

No running water (in winter), no electricity (depends on the sun).
Nonetheless the food and drinks are wonderful and rich, restaurant-like.
The atmosphere outside on the terrasse is amazing with it's views, as well as the inside is cozy and warm (also in winter).
Bedrooms are not heated but equipped with pillows and blankets.
Lastly the staff is amazing and contribute greatly to the atmosphere up there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everyone's extremely friendly and welcoming, the place is very cozy and the food absolutely delicious. I highly recommend everyone to hike up there and enjoy a relaxing lunch!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Forest road is good to do for a family. Fun hike, we ourselves went off the trail. Bit difficult to do but worth the view. Really nice atmosphere and friendly owners. Apparently you can stay the night. That could be nice we think k

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favourite Huts. Excellent food, friendly people. Nice Veranda with amazing views. If you intend to climb the Pleisenspitze and need to overnight in the Hut book a bed in advance especially during summer time.Definitely worth the climb

It was just incredibly beautiful.
The owners are hardworking and very warm people.
I was definitely not the last time up here.
