★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to stop for a drink or something to eat. Don't expect any 'romantic' mountain hut as it is very large; overrun with tourists and service is so so (at best). Food is good and view from terrace very nice. Kids will enjoy the playground!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited this place in the summer as part of our hiking trip. The food is good and the people are very friendly. The rooms are simple, but for a mountain lodge at 2 km height it is quite nice. It depends on your expectations, but overall it is a nice place to stay, placed in a wonderful area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Hut is in a nice spot within Stubai, but if you are looking for a cosy, idyllic hut this is not the place to go. It's rather crowded and directly next to a ski lift. We stayed here for a night and bought the half pension which was rather expensive for what you get. It's the first hut we've stayed in where they charge you 2€ for tap water at the table, and you have to pay an extra 8€ if you want to pack a lunch box during breakfast. 3* for being clean and the view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Large German Alpine Club hut. Near the cable car middle station. This is one of the guys along the Stubaier Hohenweg. Also the starting point for many nice day hikes. Good food. Clean bathrooms. Fantastic views.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty nice place near the middle station. You can see the mountain goats if u are lucky. Nice staff and very friendly. They offer 3 course meal and decent breakfast. You can hit the slopes before anyone else. Would stay there again.
