★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An Alpine Club Hut high in the Stubai mountains along the famous Stubaier Höchenweg. Accessible from the valley on a two hour hike or from neighboring huts like Dresdener or Nüremberger. Good food, cold drinks and spectacular views all around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful location with great views and friendly staff, but fairly expensive and with disappointing food (especially the Käsespätzle that didn't taste much of anything). A strange feel of old and new in the renovated hütte that unfortunately didn't always work well, neither style wise nor functionally. For example, there was some noisy machinery that made it hard to sleep in the dorm without ear plugs and the downstairs toilets reeked pretty badly of urine. The beer was good and the outdoor was seating very nice, though. Please note that you have to arrive early (around 16:30-17:00?) if you want to partake in half board. I couldn't find this on their website. (A la carte is always available, though.)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The waiters were nice and kind, but umfortunately the food was (sorry to say) terrible. The Spätzle were floating in cream, the kaspressknödel were dry and we hardly could find any cheese. Too bad, since they're on such a wonderful spot

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Magical, beautiful, delicious stay in a fantastic location! The staff was very available and helpful to give suggestions for our visit. Inside, the atmosphere is very warm and relaxing, ideal for a restful stay in nature. The images attached show the landscape with misty weather, which makes it anyway suggestive and touching! We loved this place so much that we decided to come here despite these weather conditions :-)
