★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ruins are not too spectacular however the view from the ruins is breathtaking regardless of the season. The place is clean and well marked, there is enough information to satisfy a history lover. Interesting and interactive education of the place and its history. Short hike up the hill, about 20 minutes, pretty steep. Totally worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Burgruine Dürnstein is a very nice place to visit. From the town Dürnstein you will need approximately 20 minutes to walk to reach the Burgruine Dürnstein.
View from above is stunning, overseeing old Town and the Danube river. A whole countryside is very beautiful. If you take the walk and reach the highest rock take a little time to sit there, enjoy the moment and the beautiful nature. Really worth of visiting
