★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect closing of visit in Wachau. Nice place in beautiful valley. Perfect meals from grill, very good service and nice staff at all. I can recommend visit of this place... Just be careful about opening hours. They are opened only evening after 5pm and not every day... ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Must visit if you are in the neighbourhood! Lovely restaurant! Beautiful outdoor space and a lovely atmosphere. Great, friendly staff and a really nice owner who took time to look after us, even though he was busy with a big party of friends. And the food was very good of course! Really pleased that we found it. It is a bit hard to find.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were biking from Melk trying to find a nice place to eat on our way, and suddenly we stumbled upon this small oasis of a restaurant (like Wachau sightseeing wasn't already enough!). We had the burgers and they were extraordinary! Both steak and normal one. And believe me, its not easy to impress a Mediterranean guy with food :P
Highly recommended I will visit them again very soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place to be. We did have a birthday party there and the location was awesome. A little drawback: if you have small children, you have to be aware of the pond there, but the area is good to oversee. The food was excellent, they have a grill station there. The meat was on point and side dishes perfectly matched. Very friendly and well trained staff. Go there and have an relaxing time with a great view on the danube. Enjoy also the close ancient city center of Dürnstein.

Good food and good drinks.
Very good service, funny waiter and Chef.
Nice seating outside, with a view and you can also see the Chef corner and food preparation.
Inside seating is in kind of a cellar.
We ate several times in August and enjoyed it, it was also open later in the evening which is a great option in Durnstein for late eaters, most places close early
