A beautiful little place right on the Danube, you feel transported into the Middle Ages. Nice little shops with regional delicacies

Few parking spaces but have often been lucky enough to get hold of one. Location, of course, perfect!

I think the €6 day ticket is quite correct. Parking lot is clean with video surveillance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Parkauromat ist altmodisch, wechselt nicht. Man muss die passenden Münzen genau haben. Kartenzahlung ist ebenfalks nicht möglich.
Tageskarte mit 6 Euro hält sich im Rahmen. 4 Stundenkarte ist für € 4 erhältlich.
Die Paktplätze selbst sind eher eng und in manchem Bereich auch sehr kurz.
Parkauromat is old-fashioned, does not change. You have to have the right coins exactly. Card payment is also not possible.
A day ticket for 6 euros is reasonable. 4 hour pass is available for €4.
The parking spaces themselves are rather narrow and in some areas very short.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are two parking spots like this, for approx 20 cars each. Ticket costs 4€ for two hours or 6€ for a day. Tickets can be bought at the parking machine with a contactless card or coins.
One can reach the old town of Durnstein within 5-10 mins by foot by climbing a flight of stairs through the rock or walk another 5mins downstream to the passageway to the old city (useful for prams/Kinderwagens)
