★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Naja... Die Zeiten in denen man gern nach "Brunntl" gegangen ist, sind definitiv vorbei. Ein Zirler geht dennoch ab und an zum Hias... einfach der Gewohnheit wegen. Essen kann man nicht schlecht für eine Hütte. Leider sieht die Hütte a bisserl heruntergekommen aus.
 Well ... The days when you loved going to "Brunntl" are definitely over. A Zirler still goes to Hias every now and then ... simply because of the habit. You can't eat bad for a hut. Unfortunately the hut looks a bit shabby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Goede pleisterplaats op weg naar de Neue Magdeburger Hütte (2 uur) of Solsteinhaus (2.5 uur). Eenvoudige keuken met verschillende soorten Knödl en soep. Maandag gesloten.
Good stopping place on the way to the Neue Magdeburger Hütte (2 hours) or Solsteinhaus (2.5 hours). Simple kitchen with different types of Knödl and soup. Closed on Mondays.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Über das Essen kann ich leider nichts sagen, Biker sind aber nicht die Freunde der Wirtin. Sie war leider ziemlich unfreundlich und hat uns mit ihrem Auto von der Straße gehupt.
Fahrt besser weiter bis zur Neuen Magdeburger Hütte, sehr gutes Essen und vor allem sehr freundliche Leute.
I can't say anything about the food, but bikers are not the landlady's friends. Unfortunately she was quite rude and honked us off the street with her car.
Better drive on to the Neue Magdeburger Hütte, very good food and, above all, very friendly people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Menší horská chata, kde jsme po prudkém stoupání lesem nalezli kýžený odpočinek. Milý majitel, příjemné prostředí, posezení uvnitř i venku. Menu jednoduché: kasknodl, leberknodl s hovězí polévkou nebo kysaným zelím v 1 talíři. Pozor, v pondělí a úterý mají zavřeno.
A smaller mountain hut, where we found the desired rest after a steep climb through the forest. Nice owner, pleasant environment, sitting inside and outside. Menu simple: kasknodl, leberknodl with beef soup or sauerkraut in 1 plate. Please note that they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
