Zweite Kauferfahrung, zweites Mal vollauf zufrieden! An die Geschäftsführung: Ich habe tatsächlich den Namen des mich betreuenden Mitarbeiters erfragt, da ich so begeistert war wie die Abhandlung gelaufen ist. Verkäufer Sebastian war: Fachlich kompetent am Telefon (und später im Shop selbst), schnell in der Abwicklung und Organisation und obendrein noch freundlich. Aus Kundensicht wünscht man sich solche Mitarbeiter, ich hoffe solche Leistungen werden entsprechend honoriert.

Special selection of eyeglasses. However, very arrogant and unfriendly shop assistants. For the high prices I expect an appropriate service. Unfortunately, it's exactly the opposite. Actually, I found my new glasses in the shop but due to this unprofessional behavior I decided to purchase them somewhere else :-(

For these guys only profit counts and the overcharge significantly compared to other opticians. The didn't provide me with a protective bag for my IC Berlin sunglasses. It had scratches and they were exchanging the frame - as it had scratches when I bought it. The clerk who was exchanging the glasses suddenly realized that there were scratches and re-installed the scratched glasses into the new frame. the health of my eyes definitely didn't count - only the money, When I wanted to exchange the glasses - (for the scratching they were responsible aswell) they charged me 90 € which we negotiated down to 70. Then I found out that at other opticians you only pay 40-50€ for the same glasses. Bottom line: do not go there. For a boutique of that size I would expect they care for their customers and not only for their profits.. secondly they charge much more than other opticians.

Never again. I had heard that this place had some exclusive eyewear models and wanted to get some advice on which ones wouldf fit me best. I got some pretty decent service but the shop was very crowded and I could not really make myself comfortable. Some of the shop assistants came across really arrogant but I bought my glasses there anyways, although they were more expensive than elsewhere. They promised to call when the glasses would be ready for pickup but I never heard from them. After more than a week I called them and learned that they were not ready because something broke during manucfacturing. It would take them some more time but they would call. After more than a week I still hadn't heart from them. When I called I was treated rudely and the shop assistant even hung up on me. I have the feeling the place is so hipster it got detached from reality. There are other places in Vienna with equal products but much better service.

I happily would have given Brillenmanufaktur five stars were it not for one big, massive, wrong-doing on their end. I'll start with the good... contrary to several of the reviews I've seen on here, the customer service was actually excellent. Despite being a foreigner, I was treated very well and had any/all questions and concerns promptly addressed. But the one big detrimental component of my experience was that they mislead me. I let them know I was in town for a short period and was looking for a certain hard-to-find pair of sunglasses from a brand they carried. To my surprise, they said they had them in stock and would put them aside for me until the next day, when I came in and bought them, along with another pair I fell in love with- all in, I spent around 1,000 Euro for the two frames. It was a small nuance that I only noticed after I was back home that gave away the fact that they'd mislead me in regards to the frame I got being the one I wanted. It was the certificate that came with the frame, as well as the shade of the lens (which wasn't immediately apparent under their in-store lighting), which verified I'd been lied to- I also noticed some scratches on the brand new frames, which I've seen mentioned in some other reviews. I don't care so much about the few small scratches since I'll be wearing them and scratches are inevitable, plus the thing with them being the wrong colour lenses and from another batch isn't the end of the world since it's largely still the same, if not identical, aesthetic, but I just don't like being mislead in such a manner, especially after being explicitly told it was the exact reference number I was after. I'm not scoring them any lower, because beyond that, the experience was great. I likely won't give them my business again since there's so many other great opticals out there, but I also am not too too mad- they're "just" glasses, after all.

amazing eyewear collection (especially Mykita) like I haven't seen in any other places. I bought 2 pair of optical glasses, got an eye test and picked up the finished glasses with corrective lens early next day. super fast and good craftmanship and quality (Zeiss lens). I then decided to leave my old pair for a revamp from optical to sunglass and had them shipped home by courier. again, got them fast. Sebastian, if you read this thank you for the help and for the bonus chocolate bar. it was delicious!
