★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich würde 3.5 Sterne geben. Die Heimverwaltung ist wirklich sehr nett. Die Zimmer, Küche und Bäder sind sauber und gepflegt. Jedoch nehmen es die Putzfrauen mit der wöchentlichen Reinigung nicht ganz so genau oftmals ist der Abstand größer und eine Küche pro Stockwerk (25 Personen) ist etwas wenig. Die Heizung könnte im Winter etwas wärmer sein.
I would give 3.5 stars. The home management is really very nice. The rooms, kitchen and bathrooms are clean and well maintained. However, the cleaning ladies don't take it very seriously with the weekly cleaning, the distance between them is often greater and one kitchen per floor (25 people) is a bit small. The heating could be a bit warmer in winter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great, clean and modern place for students. Every room has its own toilet/bathroom or it is shared with 1-2 other neighbouring rooms and is regularly cleaned by the dorm staff. Common kitchens on every floor equipped with multiple cookers, also regularly cleaned. Each tenant has there a designated shelf/shelves in a fridge as well as in a freezer. The rooms have well-isolating manual window shutters from outside. The internet is provided via wall plugs (bring your own cable or even a router) with speed is at the time of writing around 40mbps both up/down. There are also enough power plugs in the rooms. From my experience it is generally quiet place, although for parties there is a Heimbar in the basement with events organised by students every now and then. Parking in the underground garage is available for a monthly fee, plus there are 3 free and always full parking spots next to the Semmelweisstraße entrance. In the building there are also a gym room and a laundry room (usually 0.50€ for one washing cycle). The dormitory has its own private Facebook group called: WIST HEIM Linz Garnisonstraße 15, Ecke Semmelweisstraße
