K	Katja Berger on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Obwohl das abgelegene Naßwald doch so weit entfernt ist haben wir uns wieder in diese Gegend verirrt um unseren Lieblings Wirten zu besuchen. Das Essen war wie immer hervorragend und die Bedienung höflich, lustig und charmant. Super geschlafen haben wir nach unsere Wanderung auf der Rax in unserem Lieblingszimmer. Alles in allem war es ein wunderschönes Wochenende und wir kommen gerne wieder in das abgelegene aber traumhafte Naßwald. ?? Wir geben diesem Besuch 5 von 5 Sternen, weil wir leider nicht mehr vergeben können :) Although the remote wet forest is so far away, we got lost in this area again to visit our favorite host. As always, the food was excellent and the service polite, funny and charming. We slept great in our favorite room after our hike on the Rax. All in all it was a wonderful weekend and we would love to come back to the remote but wonderful Naßwald. ?? We give this visit 5 out of 5 stars, because unfortunately we cannot award more :)
B	Bernhard Schober on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Anstatt das er froh wäre, dass sich jemand in das doch sehr abgelegene Nasswald (am Fuße der Rax) verirrt und dann auch dort noch zum Wirten gehen will, kommt einem der „Super“-Kellner gleich blöd wenn man nach 10 Minuten ein Getränk bestellen will. Ist ja auch relativ unverständlich und weit hergeholt wenn man in ein Lokal geht. Vielleicht geht ja das Geschäft dort so super und Corona hat keine Auswirkungen auf diese Branche in diesem verschlafenen Nest, dass man zu zahlenden Gästen (oder solchen die es werden könnten) so unfreundlich, präpotent und herablassenden sein kann. Alles Gute – uns seht ihr sicher nie wieder. Bin froh, dass wir das Lokal gleich wieder verlassen haben. Den einen Stern gibt es nur weil ich es sonst nicht posten kann. Euer Kellner hat eher 5-mal Minus als einen Stern verdient. Instead of being happy that someone gets lost in the very remote wet forest (at the foot of the Rax) and then wants to go to the host there too, one of the "super" waiters is stupid if you order a drink after 10 minutes want. It's also relatively incomprehensible and far-fetched when you go to a pub. Maybe business is going so well there and Corona has no impact on this industry in this sleepy nest that you can be so unfriendly, prepotent and condescending to paying guests (or those who could become). All the best - you'll never see us again. I'm glad we left the restaurant straight away. The one star is only there because otherwise I can't post it. Your waiter deserves a five-fold minus rather than a star.
C	Claus Muhr on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Entzückende Location mit Geschicht, am Ende der Welt. Wunderschöne Zimmer im Haus und gegenüber in der evangelischen Kirche. Das ist toll. Herzliche Gastgeber und auch Möglichkeit, das Elektromotorrad aufzuladen. Tolle Strecke für Biker. Delightful location with history, at the end of the world. Beautiful rooms in the house and opposite in the evangelical church. That's great. Warm hosts and also possibility to charge the electric motorcycle. Great route for bikers.

M	Merrill Oates on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great mountain village gasthof. Very pleasant traditional interior, with good typical Austrian food. The homemade topfenstrudel and kaiserschmarr'n with apricot topping are fantastic. As an extra bonus you have to check out the men's urinal which is a wooden trough lined with copper washed with a stream of water showering down over a glass and tile plate. Worth the visit--especially after a good hike in the mountains.
