★ ★ ★ ★ ★ American here in Vienna since 2017. Even with the slight English/Deutsch language barrier the owner and I were able to communicate without the friction I had experienced at other places! ? ?.
Nice and friendly even though it seemed like they had a lot of stress.
The owner and the staff were so busy and they let me know he couldn't do anything for me today. Then I assured him I could do the work myself, I only needed replacement parts.
I needed a new set of disc's for my hydraulic brakes system.
So many bike shops in Vienna. So many awkward, uncomfortable, negative experiences.
Not at Wien Rad.
And another PLUS! it is the closest to my home of all the others!
However, This shop didn't have the parts I needed. They had the upgraded more expensive verions. But the owner talked me out of buying them.
He suggested if I could wait he could order what I needed and have it Monday.
I made the assumption I would only need one but as soon as I got home I realized I needed both! No worries!
When I went back Monday to pick up my part. I didnt even have to order the 2nd one because he had ordered more than 1! ?? SUPER!
The Only real issue was on me. I was not expecting the hardware to be included or better!
The bolts that came with the bike new were hex bolts.
The replacements are a T20 torx.
