Thoroughly uninspiring hostel. Whilst the beds were comfortable and the place was clean, there was ONE solitary plug socket in a 10 bed dorm which for me is just an instant one star - so stupid. Breakfast is €5.50 and sub par, you can't rent towels only buy them for €4 (cheap but most people haven't brought a towel because they don't want to pack it so defeats the point really, wasteful) and the layout of the building means sound carries from the lobby into the dorms. I just can't believe they can charge €25 a night for such poor facilities.

Nice hostel for a good price. Not much of an atmosphere for socializing for solo travelers. Comfortable beds and decent breakfast included. Just note that you have to pay in cash.

Hostel looks nice from the outside. They charge for everything here. Must buy a towel, they offer no rental. It seems like some people live at this hostel. The hostel isn't in the best location. It's close to a train station but far from city centre. My room was fairly clean and small but the hostel had old decor. Hasn't been renovated in quite some time. Room didn't have air conditioning. Loud noices came from the common area so opening the window was . Not enough places or events to meet people at the hostel. The bed was uncomfortable. Lockers in the room where large enough to carry on a bit more than a carry on but were homemade out of plywood. Didn't ask or see a public kitchen. Wouldn't stay here again.

Everything was clean, staff very kind. However the rooms were really small and warm. There are only 4 plugs for 8 beds. The shower is only suitable for people smaller then 1.70m.

Great service and staff! The room was good and cleaned. Besides, this hostel is 20 mins on foot to the city center. The only issue we had was that they wanted to be paid by cash and not by cards.

As others have mentioned, this hostel is next to a street that has bars, so it's very loud at night and definitely hard to sleep (to be fair, they offer ear plugs free of charge). Honestly this place felt very overbearing and had huge signs everywhere of things you couldn't do, such as bringing food/drinks back from the outside to your room. That one is odd to me. I felt like the check in process was okay, but kind of weird. I didn't see it mentioned anywhere when we booked that we had to pay for the hostel in cash (could also be my bad), so that came as a surprise, especially since we were able to charge the reservation fee. The guy also just charged us a rate and didn't actually mention that he was charging each of us for sheets, which was extremely sketchy. Seems a like a sleazy business practice to not say that upfront or explain that was a fee, especially when you can opt out of it at other hostels. After we said we already had our own sheets, he deducted the cost and had us use them anyway (to prevent bed bugs-- understandable). While we were checking in, the receptionists were also talking about us in German and saying we smelled -- also unprofessional. The wifi, too, as I've previously read, was definitely spotty and sometimes slow. It wasn't a terrible place, but I wouldn't recommend it or stay here again.

Friendly staff, decent room, mattress a bit hard, but okay. The shower on the top floor was not very clean though. The drain was blocked and it turned into a real mess. The location of the hostel is nice. All in all, not a bad experience staying here

People working here are very nice! Good location. Unfortunately there are just 4 power outlets in a room for 8 people, which is quite a problem. No locks on wardrobes, you have to have your own padlock or buy one in the hostel (you can leave valuable items for safe-keeping at reception). Also information on website and google maps about free breakfast is not up-to-date, as the breakfast is not free, but the price for breakfast seems fair - 5.5 euro. The breakfast itself is just ok, nothing extraordinary
