T	Thomas Nocker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Veitbauernalm - oft auch Pichleralm genannt - liegt auf ca. 1640m am westlichen Ende des Talbodens von Sportgastein und ist vom großen Sportgastein Parkplatz bequem und eben in ca. 1 Stunde zu Fuß zu erreichen. Entlang der Strasse, vorbei an der Nassfeldalm und den anderen Almen bis fast zum Ende des Tales, dann rechts beim Hinweisschild zur wunderschönen und urigen Almhütte. Eine Einkehr lässt sich ideal mit einer Wanderungen auf das Schareck verbinden oder man geht den gemütlichen Nassfeld-Rundweg oder den Peter-Sika-Weg. Eine zünftige Speckjause, Käsejause oder Brettljause gibt´s natürlich auch, als Nachspeise sollte man sich unbedingt einen frischen Bauernkrapfen oder einen warmen Topfenstrudel gönnen. Für die Kinder ist ein kleiner Spielplatz vorhanden und es gibt auch Tiere zum Streicheln. The Veitbauernalm - often also called the Pichleralm - is located at around 1640m at the western end of the valley floor of Sportgastein and can be easily reached from the large Sportgastein car park in about 1 hour on foot. Along the street, past the Nassfeldalm and the other alpine pastures to almost the end of the valley, then right at the sign to the beautiful and rustic alpine hut. A stop can be ideally combined with a hike on the Schareck or you can take the cozy Nassfeld circular route or the Peter-Sika-Weg. There is of course a hearty bacon snack, cheese snack or board snack, as a dessert you should definitely treat yourself to a fresh farmer's donut or a warm curd cheese strudel. There is a small playground for the children and there are also animals to stroke.
H	H V Vienna on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Angenehme Alm, wunderschön gelegen. Der "frische Bauernkrapfen" war jedoch alles andere als frisch, sondern hart, bröselig und lag stundenlang im Magen. Schade! Pleasant mountain pasture, beautifully situated. The "fresh farmer donut" was anything but fresh, but hard, crumbly and lay in the stomach for hours. Pity!

Sentiero in piano adatto a tutte le età, completamente circondato da prati ed attraversato da ruscelli, con tante mucche al pascolo nella bella stagione. Lungo il percorso si trovano piccoli e caratteristici locali, confortevoli per una sosta lungo il cammino. It is really pleasant to walk in this beautiful valley. Flat trail suitable for all ages, completely surrounded by meadows and crossed by streams, with many cows grazing in good weather. Along the way there are small and characteristic rooms, comfortable for a stop along the way.

Beautiful Alm with small but fine food and drinks. There is also a playground and animals. Toilet clean, service friendly. We liked it.
