★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Herrliches Panorama, schöner und sicherer Aufstieg. Seerunde ca. 1Stunde. Vom Stubnerkogel in 3 bis 4 Stunden gut zu erreichen.
 Magnificent panorama, beautiful and safe ascent. Lake round about 1 hour. Easily accessible from the Stubnerkogel in 3 to 4 hours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gastfreundschaft sieht anders aus!! Wenn man kurz nach 16:30 - nach 15 km Bergtour auf einen Cappuccino einkehren möchte, wird man leider keinen mehr bekommen, weil das Reinigen der Kaffeemaschine ist wichtiger, als Gäste zu bewirten.
Ich bin wirklich sehr viel im Gebirge unterwegs -auch heuer unzählige Berghütten besucht- aber dass ist mir noch nie passiert!!
Hospitality looks different !! If you want to stop for a cappuccino shortly after 4.30 p.m. - after a 15 km mountain tour, you will unfortunately not get any more, because cleaning the coffee machine is more important than entertaining guests.
I am really out and about in the mountains a lot - also visited countless mountain huts this year - but that has never happened to me!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nach dem steilen Aufstieg hat man sich was Kühles verdient! :-)
Sehr schöne Aussicht. Der Service war super schnell und es wurde immer wieder nachgefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist. Zu Essen hatten wir Rahmschwammerl mit Semmelklößen, diese sind auch sehr zu empfehlen.
Also volle Empfehlung für diese Hütte. Mittwoch Ruhetag!
After the steep ascent, you've earned something cool! :-)
Very beautiful view. The service was super fast and people kept asking if everything was okay. For dinner we had creamed mushrooms with bread dumplings, these are also highly recommended.
So full recommendation for this hut. Closed on Wednesdays!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ◾Awesome panoramic view with glaciers all around ◾ Great for kids (there's a huge wooden dragon right outside the house) ◾Perfectly chilled beer, a very welcome refreshment on a hot summer day ◾ And: there's 2 ice-cold lakes right next to the house :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The only restaurant when you hike between Stubnerkogel ang Sportgastein. It is situated on the level of 1950 m, about 45 minutes from the parking place and local bus station in Sportgastein. You can eat there some traditional Austrian food, as well as snacks and sweets. In the toilets you may find some refreshments including sun oil and deodorant.
Important! It is closed every Wednesday!
