★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Personal freundlich aber die Lokation ist halt eine richtige Alm ohne Luxus und Schnickschnack. Für einen kurzen Stopp okay, aber nicht extra deswegen eine Wanderung wert
 Staff friendly but the location is just a real Alm without luxury and frills. Okay for a short stop, but not worth the hike for that very reason

Wonderful alpine nature pure. Nice service, delicious food is worth a trip. Very child-friendly and a lot to discover. ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wie immer ist es bei Heidi gemütlich und nett. Trotz des bescheiden Wetter ist die Hütte schön warm eingeheizt und die Käse Jause war reichlich und sehr gut. Wir kommen bald wieder ?
As always, Heidi is comfortable and nice. Despite the modest weather, the hut was heated warm and the cheese was plentiful and very good. We'll be back soon ?

Wann immer wir auf Kur in Gastein waren, maschierten wir gemütlich den Weg zur Astenalm entlang und kehrten ein auf eine zünftige Jause und den bekannten Bauernkrapfen. Alles total urig mit Charakter in grandioser Naturkulisse.
A visit to the Astenalm has become a tradition with us over the last few years. Whenever we were on a cure in Gastein, we leisurely made our way to the Astenalm and returned for a hearty snack and the famous farmer's donut. Everything totally rustic with character in a magnificent natural scenery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice place for families. Easy to hike there with the carrier (approx. 20 Minuten if you park at evianquelle) and you find a pretty nice playground for kids, you can touch rabbits, sheep and swines. I didn't try food there, yet but they have great Zirbenschnaps! (pine snaps)
