Very cool lift, comfortable booths with red sofas, rides smoothly but quickly. Delivers to the very top from the parking lot to the panorama!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great time! My wife and I had a great time on the mountain. TrassXpress is one of several trams that take you to the top. From Zell am See, you take the #71 bus from postplatz to Schmittenhohe. The bus runs quite regularly and takes about 20 minutes. If you have the summer pass, the bus is free.
This summer it cost 31 Eu per person for the round trip and you could ascend once on any tram or cable car, and then later descend on any tram or cable car of your choice. For an extra 10 Eu we got the mountain and ferry combo, which is a great value.
