★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect location and looks suggested a lovely mountain side restaurant, sadly the attitude of the staff (grumpy) let it down as did the food, unless you want a soggy microwave pizza (two choices from the freezer neither margherita) so vegetarians go elsewhere. Avoid is the best advice, even the toasted sandwich was dreadful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dishonest food. This place is charging 5 euros for a frozen packaged pastry, the kind you'd buy from a supermarket. I'll stretch to 5 euros for a small home made pastry on a mountain...... but a frozen pre made one? Shame on them

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to have lunch on the slopes. The self service bistro is not so crowded and I highly recommend the goulash soup there. Also, the place is very cosy and the view is brilliant. Would visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here for a week for skiing. Wonderful place with great views over the mountains and the Zell am See lake. Owners are super friendly and give your stay a personal touch. No better way to end a day in the snow in the hot tub or at the fireplace
