Best Mountain cabin in austria

O	O. P. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Knapp 2h Aufstieg vom Parkplatz, an der Weggabelung den linken Weg genommen. Am Grat angekommen empfing uns eine Wolkenfront und der nette Chef, der uns von unserem Ansinnen, draußen zu sitzen, abriet. Die gemütliche Veranda mit Panoramablick hat fast komplett entschädigt. Zur Stärkung hatten wir Hütten- und Leberknödelsuppe, große Portionen und sehr lecker, die Gemüseeinlage der Suppen hat uns überrascht, bekommt man nicht so oft. Die Griesklößchen in der Hüttensuppe wären durchaus ein eigenes Gericht wert. Der Kaiserschmarrn als Nachtisch war schon fast zu viel. Der Abstieg über den rechten Weg bis zur Gabelung entschädigte mit großartigen Ausblicken. Almost 2 hours ascent from the parking lot, at the fork in the road, take the left path. To strengthen ourselves, we had hut and liver dumpling soup, large portions and very tasty, the vegetable garnish in the soups surprised us, you don't get it that often. The semolina dumplings in the hut soup would definitely be worth a separate dish. The Kaiserschmarrn for dessert was almost too much. The descent over the right path to the fork made up for it with great views.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden und wären heute gerne zurück gekommen, aber wir mussten leider das Risstal verlassen aufgrund der Wetterlage. Super great hut with a very friendly welcome. Helpful and uncomplicated. The food was top notch! We were completely satisfied and would have liked to come back today, but unfortunately we had to leave the Risstal due to the weather.
D	Daniel G. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Hütte überzeugt zunächst durch ihre Lage und den stilvoll neu renovierten Gastraum inkl. herrlichem Panaromablick. Auch die Küche ist für Hüttenverhältnisse ordentlich. Zudem ist die Köchin nett, witzig und sehr bemüht. Allerdings wird seitens der Hüttenwirtin versucht, den Gast in Bezug auf Getränkeabrechungen und bei falscher Berechnung von Stornogebühren (falsche Auslegung der hütteneigenen AGB) vorsätzlich zu betrügen. Das beeinträchtigt leider den Gesamteindruck massiv und ist in dieser Form nicht akzeptabel. Da auch diskutieren zwecklos ist und die Gäste eher als Last anstatt als Profession betrachtet werden, wird dieser Betrugsvorfall in detaillierter Form auch an den DAV übermittelt, um im besten Fall auf besseres Verhalten ggü. zukünftigen Gästen hinzuwirken. Schade um die an sich schöne Hütte, sie hätte sicherlich integere und gastfreundlichere Hüttenwirte verdient gehabt. First of all, the hut impresses with its location and the stylish, newly renovated dining room including a wonderful panoramic view. The kitchen is also neat for a hut. In addition, the cook is nice, funny and very hard working. However, the hut landlady tries to deliberately deceive the guest with regard to beverage billing and incorrect calculation of cancellation fees (incorrect interpretation of the hut's own terms and conditions). Unfortunately, this has a massive impact on the overall impression and is not acceptable in this form. Since even discussing is pointless and the guests are seen as a burden rather than a profession, this fraud incident is also transmitted in detail to the DAV in order, in the best case, for better behavior towards contribute to future guests. It's a shame about the hut, which is beautiful in itself, it would certainly have deserved more honest and hospitable hut hosts.

Der Ausblick ist herrlich und die Wanderung dorthin immer ein Genuss ?❄ Gemse kann man auch mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit beobachten! ? A great place to stay! As a member of the DAV you can rent a small room where you can stay overnight even in winter! S	Susanne Schroll on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leider kamen wir dort zu einem ungünstigen Zeitpunkt, nach 16 Uhr, an und wir bekamen außer etwas zu trinken leider überhaupt gar nichts zu essen und wurden auch nicht sehr freundlich empfangen, da der Fokus auf den Übernachtungsgästen, die bereits alle dort waren, lag und die Hütte personell völlig unterbesetzt war. Ein sehr enttäuschendes Erlebnis nach so großer Anstrengung in so schöner Landschaft! Unfortunately, we arrived there at an inconvenient time, after 4 p.m., and unfortunately we got nothing to eat apart from something to drink and were not welcomed very friendly, as the focus was on the overnight guests, who were all there already, and the hut was completely understaffed. A very disappointing experience after such a great effort in such a beautiful landscape!

When some of us requested vegan food, they said "Wir sind in Österreich, wir essen hier 'normal'" - like what is this for a comment? There are no showers in this hut. They ripped us off with electricity. They charge €2 per device to charge. My colleague had an adapter with multiple USB outputs. They charged 2 bucks per device, although it was only one adapter in the outlet.
