Der P4 ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt um das Karwendelhaus oder die Falkenhütte, am Kleinen Ahornboden vorbei, zu erreichen. Zum Karwendelhaus sind es rund 14km und 860Hm und zur Falkenhütte sind es rund 12km und 920Hm.
