★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful, historic theater located by the Naschmarkt area. The interior is absolutely stunning and worth a peek into. Seats are comfortable but spaced fairly close to each other. During intermission, be sure to take a walk up to the top floors to get a nice overview of the whole hall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My best opera that i have ever seen was tales of Hofmann at theatre an der Wien. It was in 2013. Its the best opera that i have ever seen. It was suspenseful like a movie thriller where i sat on the edge of my seat in suspense. I have never had such an experience like that in an opera before. It is to date the best opera that i have ever seen. The characters played their parts exceptionally well. After more than 5 years, it's still the best opera in my life.
