Veitsch-Rax-Schneeberg Hier befindet sich auch die, nach einem Verkehrsunfall stark beschädigte und wieder restaurierte, Wetterstation der Kurverwaltung Semmering. Nice view of the Südbahnhotel but also of the surrounding area. Veitsch-Rax-Schneeberg The weather station of the Semmering spa administration, which was heavily damaged after a traffic accident and has been restored, is also located here.
D	Dieter Kremsner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das war sicher mal ein sehr tolles Hotel, leider nagt der Zahn der Zeit schon sehr an dem Gemäuer. Das Haus könnte sicher einige spannende Geschichten erzählen. Das neue grüne Dach glänzt schon vom Weiteren. Die Aussicht ist auch wunderschön. Ich wünsche dem Hotel, dass es aus seinem Dornröschenschlaf erweckt wird und wieder neue Geschichten erzählen kann. That was certainly a very great hotel, unfortunately the ravages of time are already gnawing at the walls. The house could certainly tell some exciting stories. The new green roof shines from the rest. The view is beautiful too. I wish the hotel that it will be awakened from its slumber and that it will be able to tell new stories again.

S	Siebi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spectacular hotel that has been out of service since 1976. The current German owner just keeps it preserved by having full-time maintenance people. Also during the nights which would be really creepy if you ask me. I had some work to do that's why I was allowed to walk up and take some pictures. This place can only be visited during the famous Semmering Kultur Sommer. But it's really worth gazing at this long lost wonder of human structures.
