★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's hard to rate places like this as opinion is so subjective! None of us are religious or fans of TSOM. I love architecture and old religious architecture is usually spectacular, so I personally enjoyed looking around the place. My husband has no interest so didnt go inside, the 2 teenage kids came in so they didnt feel like they were missing something I think. We all enjoyed the walk up the meandering stairs to the convent and the view over the Dome area of Salzburg. It's worth going up there even if its just for the view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a beautifully maintained cemetery with graves dating back several centuries. Very interesting just walking through and reading the inscriptions. Certainly worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Off the beaten track on the side of the Mönchsberg and just a few minutes to walk lies this gem of a historical building and what must be one of the most scenic cemeteries on the planet. The best thing is the peace and quiet. Try not to disrupt it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a beautifull monestry. The walk up is nice. And the chrurch is very quiet and peacefull. My girlfriend told me this monestry is taking part in the Sound Of Music movie. Hence the picture of the enterance gate! At this gate the kids Von Trapp are looking for Maria?
