★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Salzburger Kunstverein is one of the most prestigious contemporary art institutions in Central Europe. It focuses on new media, film and video installations, conceptual art, and photography, it is one of the main platforms for Austrian and International Artists.
In addition, the building houses 25 different studios for artists, designers, musicians and institutions. There is also a restaurant to have a coffee or a meal before/after seeing the exhibition, their food is delicious!
There are many different events happening during the year (openings, workshops, cinema, concerts, talks, etc) so the best thing to do is to follow them on FB or Instagram, or visit their page frequently to be updated.
