★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questa sicuramente è la tipologia di statua che mi piace maggiormente, eseguita in stile classico, scolpita in un bellissimo marmo bianco e raffigurante personalità medioevali in armatura dell'epoca. Nella fattispecie, questa commemora il Duca Leopoldo VI, conosciuto anche come Leopoldo il Glorioso, figura austriaca medioevale vissuta dal 1176 al 1230.
 This is certainly the type of statue that I like most, executed in a classic style, carved in a beautiful white marble and depicting medieval armored personalities of the time. In this case, this commemorates the Duke Leopoldo VI, also known as Leopoldo the Glorious, a medieval Austrian figure who lived from 1176 to 1230.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This monument stands in tribute to Leopold VI, known as Leopold the Glorious. He is notable for establishing many monasteries, including the Mendicant Orders of the Franciscans and Dominicans.
This monument is a stone sculpture depicting Leopold in typical medieval attire with cloak over his clothing held up with a broach on this right shoulder. He is also wearing a crown, just in case you didn’t think he was important.
The sculpture sits in Rathausplatz amongst many sculptures of prominent Austrian personalities, so you could also see them all in one visit.
