★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Statue Leopold Karl von Kollonitsch is one of the many status lining the way to Rathaus at Rathausplatz. This is the work of Austrian sculptor Vinzenz Pilz in 1867 and is of nice depiction of the late 17th-century Cardinal and Archbishop of Esztergom.
Here you see Leopold of dressed in Religious attire, he is in hat, holding the side of his robe in his left hand and gripping a crucifix in his right hand. Have a quick look at the Leopold Karl von Kollonitsch statue if you enjoy monument viewing and plan to spend time in Rathausplatz.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This monument stands in tribute to Leopold Karl von Kollonitsch, a 17th and 18th century Hungarian Cardinal, Archbishop of Kalocsa and Primate of Hungary. As an imperial minister, Kollonitsch was responsible for reorganizing the Hungarian territories conquered from the Ottoman Empire.
The monument is a stone sculpture and depicts von Kollonitsch in Cardinal attire of the 18th century. He wears a long chain attached to a large cross, which von Kollonitsch is holding in his right hand.
The sculpture sits in Rathausplatz amongst many sculptures of prominent Austrian personalities, so you could also see them all in one visit, but I wouldn’t go out of the way to see this otherwise.
