Nice little old town. Crowded with tourists. At the end of Dürnstein you have a nice view.

It has several hotels but the Relaix-Chateau Dürnstein is one of those exclusive and prohibitively priced spaces that compensates for everything it offers and where it is

We parked at parking lot near Danube river outside the city of Durnstein. We had a drink at the other side of Danube where we sailed by boat what took us about an hour. When we came back there was 30 € parking penalty waiting for us.
We did not know it is a paid parking lot, because we did not find any information board that says it is mandatory to pay. We found only one board which was written in German, but unfortunatelly we do not speak German at all. Word „Gebűhrenpflichtiger“ is not understable in any other language by meaning of mandatory payment. No payterminals were nearby the place where we parked (near Rest. "Zur Emma").
