The food is lacking a lot of soul. And bored me. It's not horrible, but far from excellent.
The place seems to be a money machine for the owner. That is its central purpose.
I overheard one conversation that led me to conclude that the staff are treated quite badly by the owner. This is reflected by their general mood.
Better places to eat across the River... (It's a tourist hotspot... What does one expect)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in here while on a river boat day cruise out of Vienna. It's a great little rustic place off the side of a tight street and away from the crowds. About half of the patrons were wearing lederhosen and drindls which was very cool to see. We ate a variety of bread that is served in a bowl and charged by the pieces consumed and drank the house wine. It was a wonderful little oasis with a lovely indoor and outdoor decor.
