★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful Catholic Church built in 1642, to celebrate Vienna surviving the Plague. Romanesque style with rounded arches. No flying buttresses here. Sonntag (Sunday) Masses offered include a Latin - German Mass with some amazing, deeply spiritual music. The artwork is period work with side altars each decorated with an important scene from Christianity. The marble columns and statues simultaneously elicit beauty and reverence. Sermons in Deutsch.
