Quite Balkan conditions prevail at this station compared to Austria. The waiting room itself, on the other hand, is pretty modern.

Great station. Warm waiting room, but unfortunately no toilet facilities. Otherwise always clean. There is nothing more to say about it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Abfahrtszeiten von St. Pölten sind so ungünstig, dass wir regelmäßig von Wien kommend bei der kleinsten Verzögerung den Anschluss verpassen, eine Stunde Wartezeit. Das Problem ist sicher bekannt, aber ändern will man anscheinend nichts.
The departure times from St. Pölten are so unfavorable that we regularly miss the connection, coming from Vienna, with the slightest delay, an hour waiting time. The problem is well known, but apparently you don't want to change anything.
