D	Debora Zanette on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fun fact: the first Red Bull Vodka ever made was HERE! The place is over crowded, you can smoke inside wherever and the music is not the best. HOWEVER, it is one of the best places to party in Salzburg - since, well.. there aren’t many options. Pro tip: to survive this night order constant shots of jagermeister (which are very reasonable priced) and have fun!!

If you want to have a seat you have to reserve a table in the lounge, which is in a separate room. But be sure to be at least six people because you have to spend a specific amount of money. That is not very difficult if you are thirsty ;).

The downsides are that it's really small, so it gets crowded very quickly (especially because there is no entry fee), and that people do smoke inside (which, to the horror of non-austrians and non-smokers worldwide, is not prohibited in Austria).

The bar keepers and waiters are very attentive and friendly, the drinks are prepared with uttermost care and love and the atmosphere as well as the auience is – speaking as a woman and on behalf of other women – very safe. The bouncers watch the guests carefully and come immediately to help once they see something suspicious going on. The prices are standard for Salzburg and actually quite “cheap” if you think about the package of great service you receive and are able to enjoy by just being in the club. If you wish to spend a great and fun evening with no risks of bad surprises (as one usually encounters in most of the bars and clubs around that neighbourhood) the Club Half Moon is the place to be. 5*****

Every Friday or Saturday night we were eager to go to this club. Now I am 65 years of age and am so glad that the disco I learned my dancing moves, is still alive and kicking. Now I live in New York City. A 50 year old disco club does not exist here. But in Austria tradition is king, and everything is not money here. Because of the vaulted ceilings and the great sound system the acoustics/sound is great. Drinks are expertly mixed. People you see, will be mostly attractive.

Grrat atmosphere, reasonably priced drinks at the bar. Pace is mot too crowded. Comes to life at about 1am approx. Highly recommended. Cant wait to be back
