★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t recommend. The cable cars and chair lifts here are very old and uncomfortable, big Qs. Many skiers who are very rude, they all time jump the Q, kick you and push you around and all time either stab you or your snowboard with their ski poles. Every day of riding there I had to ask them to keep distance when waiting for a chair lift and had my beautiful snowboard graphic scratched deeply in several places. Wi-fi doesn’t work all the time. Very many people. In restaurants on the runs there are no menus in English and they don’t accept cards and of course no Apple Pay. Very limited choice. Every looks old and in bad condition. Some runs are nice, but most of runs are icy and the snow isn’t cold because this resort isn’t high and it’s not a glacier. Their site promised that it’s the best resort in Austria, but it obviously isn’t true. If you have a chance, go to Kitzsteinhorn in Kaprun. They have new lifts and even a lot of vegan food in restaurants and all is beautiful and the snow is great cause Kitzsteinhorn is a glacier)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SkiWelt os a great resort catering to intermediate skiiers, the lifts and pistes are well run and maintained and there always seems to be a good vibe on the mountain. Covering a large area there is plenty to explore over 3-4 mountain massifs with some 280km of piste, it could definitely keep you busy for a couple of weeks. Due to its lower altitude snow can get a bit slushy on the home runs on warm days but just head deeper into the resort to avoid this. Après is fairly chilled but still fun, good for families and group trips, and I recommend the night skiing over in Söll. Great experience!
