★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best places to bring the entire family during summer ! Not only u will be awed with it's picturesque and fantastic view of the Alps..fresh air it was also a great outdoor experience! .. Must bring extra clothes tho especially for kids since they have special area where you just let them play barefoot and other stuff that will heightened their senses and get closer to nature.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nothing special compared with some other resorts in Austria (Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Zugspitze, St Anton). Quite close to Munich, not a lot off-piste options and mostly short- medium length red runs. Can get pretty crowded, service is ok in most restaurants, but sometimes locals are preferred and card payments are not very welcome. We did not see any vanues on the mountain within 6 days (live music/dj-s) and village life is fairly quiet without nice apres ski options.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice Place for skiing, but the lay-out is chaotic and Signage isn't very good (some Signs Just sent you in the wrong direction, borders of slopes not visible when it's snowing). Main issue is the lack of a proper skibus connecting the towns.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were very disappointed. We felt very unsafe as covid-19 regulations weren't followed by skiers and staff. It's hard to find restaurants that accept cards (I thought contactless payments were important in this pandemic?).
Very hard to navigate on the mountain. Facilities need an upgrade. Also, where in modern ski resorts you can give back your skiing pas in an automat, you need to go to a cashier in Brixental (Hopfgarten). So we didn't get our €2 deposit back.
Out of misery we went to Kitzski, at least we could enjoy our holiday for one day...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic place to ski. Friendly people, incredible lift system, no queues and a great number of excellent, reasonably priced restaurants. It's fantastic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Important warning for SNOWBOARDERS!
To make it fare first, I would first say that the resort has a lot of pistes and lifts, it also has great views and friendly staff.
But the biggest disadvantage in my opinion is the suitability of the resort for snowboarding. Which unfortunately we didn’t take into account when we planned the trip, we saw really high rating in skiresort app and relatively close to the Munich airport where we have a direct flight. So from logistic perspective- it was good.
But - in the first days we notice that the ration between skiers and snowboarders is really weird. Probably like 90% of riders, are ski riders. In the begging we wasn’t sure why. But after we checked many many slopes there, I can say that the most of the slopes - aren’t suitable for snowboarding.
They have a lot of flat or even elevated areas in the middle of red and blue pistes. For example the slope 20, which you can see in the picture claims to be “the best” has 3 areas in the middle when we literally needed to take the board off and walk…
Also added few pics to show that the views are indeed great.
So if you’re a skier - it’s good for you.
But if you are a snowboarder - I don’t recommend it, you should go to the mayrhofen instead or some French alps resorts (Val Thorens, Tignes, Avoriaz, etc)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We started at Brixen and had booked with Skibus Munich. The resort is very huge and has multiple sections. The slopes are very good and long. The only downside was that the brixen side was very crowded (weekend with good weather). But you should be able to find some section with fewer people and enjoy the skiing. The views of Wilder Kaiser was amazing! Some of the slopes (especially Talabfahrt) became un-skiable by mid day but that's probably because of the huge number of people. I'm looking forward to return during quieter days to explore skiwelt further!
