De eigenaar heeft er een leuke sfeer gecreëerd met allerlei snuisterijen. Bediening is informeel. Great location to gain new strength during a walk through the beautiful Koppental. The owner has created a nice atmosphere with all kinds of trinkets. Operation is informal.

G	Gabriele Puchner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir waren mit einer Wandergruppe dort. Der Chef war nicht nur unfreundlich, sondern ausgesprochen beleidigend ( ... "geht das nicht schneller?") Der Kaffee war dünn, die Buchtel klein und trocken (um €3.50 ). Höflich darauf angesprochen wurde er wieder persönlich und beleidigend. Auch mit seiner Aushilfe verfuhr er in einer unmöglichen Art. Der Rest der Jause war nicht schlecht, aber auch nichts besonderes und vollkommen überteuert! Es ist traurig dass jemand seine "Alleinlage" so ausnutzt We were there with a hiking group. The boss was not only unfriendly, but extremely insulting (... "does not the order go faster?") The coffee was thin, the Buchtel small and dry (around € 3.50). Polite to it he was again personally and insulting. Even with his help he did in an impossible way. The rest of the snack was not bad, but nothing special and totally overpriced! It is sad that someone exploits his "stand-alone"

At the beginning of the Koppental hike it says that it is open, on the website and on Google it also says and then it is simply closed.
D	Danny Millington on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Schilder am Weg versprachen Bier, Kaffee, Brot, Kaffee und Kuchen. So weit, so gut. Wir kommen an - kein Mensch da außer einem Mann, der wohl der Wirt sein durfte. Grüßen hat er scheinbar nicht in seiner Repertoire. Auf der Frage, ob wir Kaffee haben könnten, grummelte er “Muss ich schauen...die steht schon länger”. Toilette? “Ja, in der Hütte”....Wo, genau? “IN...DER...HÜTTE”. Nein, wir sind nicht geblieben. Es ist zwar ein sehr schöner Ort aber wenn man seine Gäste wie Dreck behandelt, dann wundert es mich nicht, dass die Hütte menschenleer war. Ich frage mich, warum der nette Herr überhaupt aufmacht, wenn er offensichtlich keine Gäste haben möchte. The signs on the way promised beer, coffee, bread, coffee and cake. So far so good. It is a very nice place, but if you treat your guests like dirt, I am not surprised that the hut was deserted. I wonder why the nice gentleman opens when he obviously doesn't want any guests.
R	Roman Greil on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Am Beginn des Weges steht geschrieben dass die Schutzhütte geöffnet ist. Bei der Schutzhütte war niemand zu sehen. Und das an einem Samstag bei schönstem Wetter. At the beginning of the path it is written that the refuge is open. Nobody was to be seen at the refuge. And that on a Saturday with the best weather.
L	Leon Mikkeleitis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein absolutes MUSS auf der schönen Wanderroute. Es gibt eine leckere Jause, Brote oder auch was Süßes und natürlich Getränke. Eine Toilette gibt es auch und einen wirklich netten Wirt. Wir kommen aschon seit Jahren her und daran wird sich auch erstmal nichts ändern. An absolute MUST on the beautiful hiking route. There is a delicious snack, bread or something sweet and of course drinks. There is also a toilet and a really nice host. We have been coming here for years and nothing will change for the time being.
