★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't go up without enough time or a working connection to the top/peak (Schafbergspitze). The view from the immediate vicinity of the station is blocked by trees and trains get really hot. Also people get seated about 7 minutes before departure time at the top. They let people from other departure times in too. Don't be late.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Take off the train at this stop and you can hike to the hilltop. The trip is approx. 1.5hrs for beginners. No special equipment required and the nice climb on the picturesque hillside well worth the effort. The timetable is not always correct, always ask the staff for the current schedule.
