★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Bahnhof ist an sich super und neu gestaltet, angestrichen und eigentlich im Vergleich zu anderen geputzt. Das einzige Problem: Wie überall ist ein Bahnhof nur ein Bahnhof und es sind dementsprechend einige Kaugummis am Boden. Sonst top?
 The station itself is great and redesigned, painted and actually cleaned compared to others. The only problem: As everywhere, a train station is just a train station and accordingly there are some chewing gum on the floor. Otherwise top?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leider keine gut geschützte Möglichkeit zum Warten. Es gibt zwar eine Überdachung, aber ein Windfang wäre auch gut, zudem der LEX in der Früh meist Verspätung hat.
Insgesamt in Ordnung, wirkt aber eher wie eine große Haltestelle, als wie ein Bahnhof.
Unfortunately no well-protected opportunity to wait. There is a roof, but a vestibule would also be good, and the LEX is usually late in the morning.
Overall okay, but looks more like a large stop than a train station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Idealer Ausgangspunkt um mit Öffis Salzburg zu erreichen. Auch von Deutschland aus. Die Lokalbahn ist ein charmanter Mix aus Regional-und Straßenbahn inkl. einer sehr freundlichen Schaffnerin, bei der man - vollkommen analog - Fahrscheine in Zug kaufen kann. Da ist kein Kampf mit einem Fahrkartenautomaten nötig. Sehr bequem. In Salzburg dann unbedingt mit dem emissionsfreien Oberleitungsbus in die Altstadt fahren.
Ideal starting point to reach Salzburg by public transport. Also from Germany. The local train is a charming mix of regional and tram, including a very friendly conductor, where you can buy tickets in Zug - completely analogue. There is no need to fight with a ticket machine. Very convenient. In Salzburg, it is essential to take the emission-free trolleybus to the old town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Komme jeden Tag hier her um meine Tochter zum Zug zu bringen. Es ist immer sehr viel los. Aber es wurde vor ein Paar Jahren alles neu gemacht und erst vor kurzem wurde das Gleis erneuert Richtung L Hausen das finde ich sehr gut. Wenn man immer dahinter ist. Jetzt kommen neue Strommasten. Der Parkplatz ist allerdings ein bißchen Mao. Sehr wenig Platz.
Come here every day to take my daughter to the train. It's always very busy. But everything was redone a few years ago and only recently the track was renewed in the direction of L Hausen, which I think is very good. If you are always behind it. Now there are new power poles. The parking lot is a bit Mao though. Very little space.
