★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite old hotel, but still clean, with good service and big spa. Nice view for waterfall and perfect cuisine. I ate a lot, everything was perfect. Really.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everyone was friendly and the breakfast was nice but the hotel itself is hard worn. Things seem really old and when we booked we thought we were getting two seperate rooms with real beds but instead our friend had to sleep on a pull out couch. While that is fine for children, it isnt really fine for adults. The town is lovely and the hotel is in a great spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel is oké for those not looking for luxury. Rooms are clean enough yet out dated. Breakfast and dinner are buffet and do not offer allot of choice and change over different days.
Bar is 'always' closed and when open you don't want to sit here, you probably are the only one. Hotel don't offer to service any drinks in the room. Make sure you do groceries at the nearby store when you stay here so you have something to drink.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not the best. Our shower drain was clogen when we arrived and weird stuff started flowing when I started showering. At the reception desk they told us it was our fault, however, they sent a repairman the other day. The carpets were kinda filthy, and our couch/bed was broken and uncomfortable. Overall it was ok, the view was lovely though

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Average grade family friendly hotel with excellent view of the Bad Gastein waterfall. Most of the surrounding hotels have gone out of business, meaning this part of town is a bit ghost like. Parking is a bit of a squeeze, so we had to use the Apcoa parking for 30€ per night. Food is basic, with a good eye for things that kids like to eat. The Roman style Thermal baths were nice, but in need of an overhaul as is the whole hotel interior. We were also unlucky in that the room was cleaned only 2 out of four days and had to ask for new towels. Otherwise no complaints. As said a basic family friendly hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot, really kind owners, we booked last minute to avoid camping in the rain and it was just what we needed. Spacious rooms and cool waterfall view. Definitely recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sanotel is a budget hotel, I would say not to expect anything spectacular for the price - you get what you pay for.
The personnel was very friendly and helpful.
The room, bedsheets and bathroom were clean. Everything is old though - so it smells like old furniture, walls, carpets, curtains, there's not much to do about that. The curtains are so old they are discolored and have holes.. Also they run the washing machines during the night and that can be overheard in the rooms.
The view from the breakfast area is truly amazing. The breakfast itself is basic, but it's fine - I guess there's something for everyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely hotel with great service, friendly staff and lovely breakfast choices. Amazing views of the waterfall in the village and amazing size of rooms. The pool, sauna, steam rooms and other facilities were fantastic including a ski room with boot dryers. The only downside is parking is difficult around the hotel due to the village layout, but there is a garage available
