★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr gut, aber eher hochpreisig, dafür qualitativ.
Besonders erwähnenswert ist Frau Neubert, eine sehr engagierte Bedienung. Sie gab uns vorzügliche Weinempfehlungen und tolle Ausflugstipps für unsere ganze Familie.
Leider ist es momentan recht selten das eine Servicekraft noch mit so viel Liebe ihren Beruf ausführt. Vielen Dank.
 The food in the restaurant was very good, but rather expensive, but qualitative.
Ms. Neubert is particularly worth mentioning, a very committed waitress. She gave us excellent wine recommendations and great excursion tips for our whole family.
Unfortunately, it is currently very rare that a service employee still carries out her job with so much love. Many Thanks.

Empfang und Auschecken jedoch etwas merkwürdig.
Entgegen der Ankündigung war das Gebäude bei Ankunft verschlossen. Auch lag keine Nachricht bereit. WLAN im OG nicht vorhanden.
Frühstück i.O. jedoch ohne Engagement.
Begleichung der Rechnung sollte im Restaurant erfolgen.
Jedoch hatte man wohl Angst wir würden die Zeche prellen (!?) und stand dann zwei Minuten nach dem Frühstück vor der Zimmertür zum Abkassieren!
Die depressive Stimmung des ganzen Ortes schlägt wohl auf die Menschen durch. Sehr schade!

Reception and check-out a bit strange.
Contrary to the announcement, the building was locked on arrival. There was also no message available. WLAN not available on the first floor.
Breakfast ok but without commitment.
The bill should be settled in the restaurant.
However, one was probably afraid we would hit the bill (!?) And then stood in front of the room door to cash in two minutes after breakfast!
The depressive mood of the whole place probably affects the people. What a shame!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super historischer Beherbergungsbetrieb, sauber und gediegen. Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Restaurant auch in Zwischensaison gut gefüllt. Gerichte sehr gut zubereitet. Bad Gastein ist einfach einzigartig. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder in dieses Haus, schöne Grüße aus der Steiermark?
Super historical accommodation, clean and dignified. Staff very friendly and attentive. Restaurant well filled even in the off-season. Dishes very well prepared. Bad Gastein is simply unique. We will definitely come back to this house, greetings from Styria?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice small place with excellent rooms and service. Waterfall view from balcony and away from the noise of city. Will visit again and if you are booking here ask for room#2, this is the room where emperor of Austria stayed and it has got balcony too
