S	Stefan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Am 10.12. einen Einkehrschwung in die Schirmbar gemacht und dort auf sehr freundliches Personal gestoßen (Melli, Laura und Matthias). Daumen hoch! On 10.12. made a stop at the Schirmbar and met very friendly staff (Melli, Laura and Matthias). Thumbs up!

Gratis Schlapfen (z.b. wenn man nasse Schuhe hat vom Regen wie ich), supergutes Essen, freundliches Personal und sehr gemütliche Hütte. :-) Hier komm ich auf jeden Fall wieder mal her. Did the Giggijochbahn, then hiked to the hut. Free slap (e.g. if you have wet shoes from the rain like me), super good food, friendly staff and very cozy hut. :-) Here I will definitely come back again.

Die Hütte hat eine große Sonnenterrasse, sogar mit Liegestühlen, wo man die tolle Aussicht perfekt genießen kann. Die Wirtsleute und das Personal sind äußerst freundlich und haben tolle Tipps für Touren und Wanderungen auf Lager, außerdem kennen sie jeden Gipfel in der Umgebung. Die Getränke und das Essen sind sehr schmackhaft und liebevoll zubereitet und vor allem für diese Höhenlage auch sehr günstig. Besonders die Buchteln mit Vanillesauce sind ein Traum! Wir können die Rotkogelhütte sehr empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder! Very nice hut! We stopped by the Rotkogelhütte on our hiking tour and were thrilled! The hut has a large sun terrace, even with deck chairs, where you can enjoy the great view perfectly. The hosts and the staff are extremely friendly and have great tips for tours and hikes in store, and they know every peak in the area. The drinks and the food are very tasty and lovingly prepared and, above all, very cheap for this altitude. Especially the Buchteln with vanilla sauce are a dream! We can highly recommend the Rotkogelhütte and would be happy to come back!
A	Anja Monz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schöne Alm Wir sind mit der Giggijochbahn hoch gefahren und sind von dort aus hochgewandert. Es ist eine anstrengende Wanderung von 400 Höhenmetern. Aber danach wird man mit einer tollen Aussicht belohnt. Wir haben etwas gegessen und das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis war angemessen. Beautiful Alm We went up with the Giggijochbahn and hiked up from there. It is a strenuous hike of 400 meters. But afterwards you will be rewarded with a great view. We ate something and it was reasonable value for money.

Der Service war super nett, nachdem es uns draußen doch zu kalt war, konnten wir problemlos den Platz drinnen wählen. Das essen war super lecker. Als kleiner Punkt würde ich erwähnen wollen, dass die Vanillesauce vom Germknödel wohl mit Alkohol angereichert war - ohne das dies in der Karte aufgeführt war, geschmeckt hat es trotzdem! Beautifully located hut, which we visited as a stop on a hike. The service was super nice, after it was too cold for us outside, we could easily choose the seat inside. The food was delicious. As a small point, I would like to mention that the vanilla sauce from the yeast dumplings was probably fortified with alcohol - without this being listed on the menu, it still tasted!
