Enkel de locatie is wat minder maar laat je hierdoor niet afschrikken, als je binnen bent is het genieten! Friendly staff and we had a lovely meal. Highly recommended if you are in Obertauern. Only the location is a bit less, but don't let this put you off, when you're inside it's fun!

Hier gibt es keine Haute Cousine, sondern ehrliche und urige Küche ohne Chichi. Wobei Küche zuviel gesagt ist, alles wird im Gastraum frisch zubereitet. Die Beilagen passen pefekt dazu, selbst gemachtes Toastbrot mit Raclettekäse und butterweiche Kartoffeln, was will man mehr? Das Fleisch hat ein ganz besonderes rauchiges Aroma wie ich es selten erlebt habe und es war wie bestellt auf den Punkt gegart, eines der besten T-bones die je hatte. Der Service war perfekt, sonderwünsche kein Problem und wir hatten ein netten Plausch. Danke für den schönen Abend! Achtung: keine Kartenzahlung, die Kasse scheint so urig zu sein wie das Ambiente ? Resevierung empfohlen, hat recht wenige Plätze. In Berlin or Munich, such a store would be hyped and you would have to book weeks in advance. There is no haute cousin here, but honest and rustic cuisine without chichi. Where kitchen is said too much, everything is freshly prepared in the guest room. The side dishes go perfectly with it, homemade toast with raclette cheese and buttery potatoes, what more could you ask for? The meat has a very special smoky aroma that I have rarely experienced and it was cooked to the point, as ordered, one of the best T-bones I've ever had. The service was perfect, special requests were no problem and we had a nice chat. Thank you for the lovely evening! Attention: no card payment, the cash register seems to be as rustic as the ambience ? Reservation recommended, has very few seats.

Other in hotel was common nothing special. The place (Obertauern) is beautiful and perfect. Next time I'll choice another hotel.
