Leider auch diese Saison kein Fleisch aus Österreich/EU sondern nur aus USA, Australien etc. Schmeckt zwar gut, ist aber hochpreisig und ich glaube man würde mindestens gleich gutes Fleisch aus der Umgebung bekommen, das nicht tausende km zurückgelegt hat um nach Obertauern zu kommen. Die Salatbeilage ist für das Geld zu klein, das Essen wurde bei uns (6Pers) nicht gleichzeitig serviert - würde ich mir bei dieser Preisklasse erwarten. Very friendly waitress, location is ok if integrated into the hotel. Unfortunately, this season also no meat from Austria / EU but only from the USA, Australia etc. It tastes good, but it is high-priced and I think you would get at least as good meat from the area that did not travel thousands of kilometers to get to Obertauern . The side salad is too small for the money, the food was not served at the same time (6pers) - I would expect this price range.

Dann eine Tomatensuppe mit Biss und ein Châteaubriand mit Sauce Bernaise und Pfeffersoße. Zum Abschluss ein warmes Brioche. Geniales Dinner. Ein guter Service rundet den gelungenen Abend ab. Ja, es ist hochpreisig aber sein Geld wert. Unbedingt empfehlenswert. It starts with a greeting from the kitchen and home-baked foccia with caramelized butter. Then a tomato soup with a bite and a Châteaubriand with sauce Bernaise and pepper sauce. Finally, a warm brioche. Great dinner. A good service completes the successful evening. Yes, it is high priced but worth the money. Absolutely recommendable.

Der Chefkoch hat die Bestellung persönlich aufgenommen und es komplett vermasselt. Zusätzlich wurden noch nicht bestellte Speisen serviert. Obwohl der Chefkoch die Bestellung persönlich aufgenommen hat, wurden die Gerichte falsch, zu spät oder gar nicht bestellte Speisen gebracht. Wir hatten uns schon gewundert, dass man hier zur Hauptsaison mit einer großen Gruppe einen Tisch reservieren konnte. Achtung, das Personal spricht nur Englisch (für uns kein Problem, für andere vielleicht schon). Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right here. The food and drinks, which are not particularly delicate at all, are quite overpriced. Although the chef took the order personally, the dishes were wrong, late or not ordered at all. We were surprised that you could reserve a table here with a large group during the high season. Beware, the staff only speaks English (no problem for us, maybe for others).
