★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was literally 2 steps away from our accommodation in Vienna and we stopped here for lunch regardless of the rating. It was a great decision! The staff treated us with kindness and the food was very good as well. I actually ended up speaking with the owner which is a young man that took over the restaurant not long ago (~1 year). He mentioned that a lot of the bad reviews were gathered during the previous ownership and I tend to believe him considering the great time we had here. Overall, great experience at a reasonable price on a very quiet street of Vienna. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In my personal opinion, I have had a really good dinner at Der Kuckuck. The waiter was really polite and he offered us an appetizer before our orders. The location brings you in the old Wien, with lots of pictures placed on the walls, plus the cuckoo clocks ( as the name of the restaurant). If I come back to Wien, I will probably return here (maybe with my lady)!
