★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent! Everything we had here from the Wiener schnitzel to the draught beer to the goulash was fantastic. There are many other establishments that are well reviewed, but this place felt local and was very easy to get into. A not to miss!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was hungry for lunch so stopped here. I had the natural chicken breast with rice. Very thin gravy sauce absolutely delicious. Tender chicken, superb flavourful dish.
The gulasch soup, strong hearty flavour with chunks of potatoes and meat. Served with 2 bread rolls. Great flavour.
Melange or milk coffee.
Good value. Great place to stop and take time out.
Old world, hole in the wall pub. Pleasant staff.
Great place to relax after too much walking around.
Great menu, lots of simple food choices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location, in the middle of the city close to the opera, and still quiet enough to enjoy outside seating. Waiters are attentive, menu authentic and extensive enough to satisfy some cravings, and most surprisingly: the prices are very tolerable for a Wirtshaus in the first district.
Food is, as stated, authentic and very tasty, from the soups to the main course meats all the way to the delicious desserts. A nice experience, quick and satisfying but not too filling, from beginning to end.
