The best place ... comfortable, quiet, luxurious view, delicious breakfast, polite host. It was super. If this is the neighborhood ... this is the only accommodation.

Leider hatten wir uns unter einem Winterurlaub auf dem Bauernhof etwas anderes vorgestellt und waren daher nicht zufrieden. Wir haben in vier Tagen, außer dem Hund, kein Tier zu Gesicht bekommen. The apartment is very nice and tidy. The location excellent. Unfortunately, we had a different idea during a winter holiday on the farm and were therefore not satisfied. We did not see any animals in four days except the dog.

A	Anne Opitz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir haben als Familie (Kinder 2 und 5 Jahre alt) im August eine Woche auf dem Waldhof verbracht. Die Ferienwohnung "Bergblick" ist groß, verfügt über 2 Schlafzimmer (mit jeweils einem kleinen Bad daneben ;) ) und einen Balkon mit Blick auf die Berge. Der Ort Niederthai ist wunderschön, ruhig und idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. ABER wir waren trotzdem ziemlich enttäuscht, da hier entgegen der Beschreibung kein Urlaub auf dem Bauernhof möglich war. Wir hatten aufgrund der Beschreibung des Waldhofs auf der Seite urlaubambauernhof.at gebucht. Dort war der Hof mit Reitmöglichkeit, Pony und Ziegen, Spielplatz, Spielgeräten, Traktorfahrten, Mitarbeit am Hof, Hofeigenen Produkten usw. aufgeführt. Vor Ort mussten wir leider feststellen, dass davon praktisch nichts vorhanden war. Der Spielplatz war nicht aufgebaut und es gab lediglich 2 alte Rutschfahrzeuge für die Kinder. Der Hofbereich war nicht zugänglich, das Pony und die Ziegen waren ganztags im Stall und ein Füttern oder Besuch der Tiere war eher unerwünscht. Reiten oder Streicheln des Ponys war nicht möglich, da es bissig reagierte. Auch Hofeigene Produkte haben wir nicht entdeckt. Bezüglich Spiel- und Reitmöglichkeiten wurden wir vom Gastgeber auf andere Höfe verwiesen. So verbrachten wir nun unseren Urlaub auf dem Spielplatz und der Koppel fremder Höfe und waren vormittags und nachmittags unterwegs, da es für unsere kleinen Kinder auf dem Waldhof nichts zu erleben gab. Hätten wir das vorher gewusst, hätten wir nicht gebucht. Wir wollten daher früher abreisen, doch das wurde uns leider vom Gastgeber verwehrt. Insgesamt hatte dieser wenig Verständnis für unsere Enttäuschung. Unfreundlich und aufbrausend wurde uns vermittelt, dass wir gebucht hatten und daher die volle Zeit zu zahlen hatten. Die Zufriedenheit von uns und unseren Kindern war dem Gastgeber kein Anliegen. We spent a week at the Waldhof as a family (children 2 and 5 years old) in August. The "Bergblick" holiday apartment is large, has 2 bedrooms (each with a small bathroom next to it;)) and a balcony with a view of the mountains. The place Niederthai is beautiful, quiet and an ideal starting point for hikes. BUT we were still quite disappointed because, contrary to the description, no vacation on the farm was possible here. We booked based on the description of the Waldhof on the Urlaubambauernhof.at website. There the farm was listed with riding opportunities, pony and goats, playground, play equipment, tractor rides, working on the farm, farm products, etc. Unfortunately, we had to find out on site that practically nothing was available. The playground was not set up and there were only 2 old slide vehicles for the children. The yard area was not accessible, the pony and goats were in the stable all day and feeding or visiting the animals was rather undesirable. Riding or petting the pony was not possible because it reacted viciously. We did not discover any farm products either. The host referred us to other farms with regard to play and riding opportunities. So we now spent our vacation on the playground and the paddock of foreign farms and were out in the mornings and afternoons, as there was nothing for our small children to experience at the Waldhof. If we had known that beforehand, we would not have booked. We wanted to leave earlier, but unfortunately the host refused to do so. Overall, he had little sympathy for our disappointment. Unfriendly and angry we were told that we had booked and therefore had to pay full time. The satisfaction of us and our children was not a concern of the host.
