The prices are negotiable - if you go much above 20 euro for a ticket, you're probably overpaying. The mandatory coat check is definitely a ripoff though - you may be able to get them to budge on it.
O	Oleg Romanyshyn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It wasn't bad at all. We were pleasantly surprised by the show (we read many negative comments). Musicians and especially opera singers were very good. There is no enough room for ballet- so can't tell if they're good, but they show up couple times. Room is small and all seats are on the same level- I'd say there's no point getting VIP tickets. We've got 2 tickets for 29 (from street resellers) and free tickets for kids.

H	Hasan Abdulla on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1000% rip off, doesn't worth a cent. Firstly, the jacket must be checked in the cloak room which is (((mandatory and chargable))). These crooks outside the opera house selling you the tickets and after the cash collection they inform of the location, which is in a lausy building behind the opera house. The dancers steps sound overwhelmes the sound of the music. To be just and fair the band is good. The hall is not suitable for opera, which makes the singer's voice off-putting and very noisy. To sum it up this place is excellent if you are blind.

If you're looking for a concert experience, go to a real concert and stay away from this place. There are so many good ones in Vienna. If someone tries to sell you ticket to Calais Palffy, run, and tell those ticket sellers to go f themselves.
C	Chu Paulina on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ -1 stars! I wouldn’t mind a small, same level seated room for this price but this is not an orchestra this is a SCAM! Don’t come! No matter how much it is! Group of 7 musicians is not an orchestra, the pianist is not synchronized, the 1st violinist tempo is rushing all the time ? DO NOT COME!

V	Vishal Singh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the location for a Mozart and Strauss Koncerte by a local Viennese Group. It's located close to the Hofburg on Josefsplatz Strasse. The staff was good, and the location was convenient. There is a bar area that becomes available only during the intermission. Drinks were not overpriced. I only saw two floors out of this multi storey building, so I can only speak of those.
