Von Langlaufen (auch abends bei Flutlicht), Winterwandern und Eislaufen am zugefrorenen See kann man hier alles machen. Für Kinder gibt's einen super Platz zum Spielen und Schlittenfahren. Im Winter werden auch tolle Veranstaltungen angeboten. Da ist für jeden was dabei. The Nordic Park in Saalfelden is a dream in winter. From cross-country skiing (even in the evening with floodlights), winter hiking and ice skating on the frozen lake you can do everything here. For children there's a great place to play and toboggan. In winter, great events are also offered. There's something for everyone.

P	Patrick S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir haben die Langlaufrouten in Saalfelden Dorf und Ritzensee ausprobiert. Kosten: Aktuell 3.5 Euro pro Tag, früher war es gratis. Gäste zahlen trotz Gästekarte und brauchen ein neues Ticket wenn sie mal ein anderes Gebiet wie Hochfilzen ausprobieren wollen. Wenn die Loipe nicht vollständig fahrbar ist, bleibt der Preis unverändert hoch, es gibt hier keine Ausnahmen. Loipenqualität: Am Ritzensee ist sie gut gepflegt, bei Bedarf wird Schnee von aussen hinzugfügt und die Loipe ist durchgängig fahrbar. Die Klingler, Ramseide und anderen Loipen im Dorf sind fahrbar aber es hat braune Flecken, die nicht geflickt werden. Das Pistengerät pflügt einfach durch den Dreck obwohl Schnee auf der Seite vorhanden ist. Bei jedem Strassenübergang muss man die Ski abziehen was das Laufen sehr stört. Öfters laufen Pferde oder Wanderer über die Piste und hinterlassen Löcher. Beschilderung: Die Beschilderung ist im Dorf schwach bis nicht vorhanden. Besser ist es sich vorher auf Google zu informieren. Der Ticketautomat ist gut beschildert, damit ja jeder weiss wo man zahlen muss. Informationen im Internet: Die Tourismus Seite behauptet dass es 150km Langlaufloipen hat, aber in Wirklich sind es max. 102km die sich durch das ganze Tal erstrecken und nur lose miteinander verbunden sind. (10m bis 3km Fussweg dazwischen). Man kann also gar nicht alles laufen ohne Auto. Der Loipenstatusbericht am 20.12 stammte vom 13.12 auf Bergfex.at und war 7Tage alt. Verpflegung: Es gibt ein Hinweisschild von einem Restaurant in 5km, das war es. Das beste Beispiel ist der Ritzensee, denn hier gibt es eine Veranda direkt an der Loipe.Nur wurde hier die Zugangstreppe gesperrt und mit Schnee zugschüttet so dass man keine Chance hat dort hinzusetzen und einen Kaffee zu trinken. Fazit: Langlauf in Saalfelden ist geduldet aber nicht erwünscht. Es sieht kaum Engagement und dementsprechend sind auch nur wenige Leute auf Langlaufskiern unterwegs. We tried the cross-country skiing routes in Saalfelden Dorf and Ritzensee. Costs: Currently 3.5 euros per day, it used to be free. Guests pay despite the guest card and need a new ticket if they want to try a different area like Hochfilzen. If the trail is not fully navigable, the price remains unchanged and there are no exceptions. Quality of the cross-country ski run: it is well-maintained on the Ritzensee, snow is added from the outside if necessary and the cross-country ski run is completely manageable. The Klingler, Ramseide and other cross-country trails in the village are mobile but there are brown spots that cannot be patched. The snow groomer simply plows through the dirt even though there is snow on the side. At every road crossing you have to take off your skis, which is very annoying to the walk. Horses or hikers often run across the slopes and leave holes behind. Signs: The signs are weak or nonexistent in the village. It is better to find out more on Google beforehand. The ticket machine is well signposted so that everyone knows where to pay. Information on the Internet: The tourism site claims that there are 150km of cross-country ski trails, but in reality it is a maximum of 102km that extend through the whole valley and are only loosely connected. (10m to 3km footpath in between). So you can't run everything without a car. The trail status report on December 20th came from December 13th on Bergfex.at and was 7 days old. Meals: There is a sign for a restaurant 5km away, that's it. The best example is the Ritzensee, because there is a veranda right next to the cross-country ski run, only here the access stairs have been blocked and snow covered so that you don't have a chance to sit down there and have a coffee. Conclusion: Cross-country skiing in Saalfelden is tolerated but not desired. It hardly sees any commitment and accordingly only a few people are on cross-country skis.
